Just another quick card before work, another Humphrey diecut decoupage but from the xmas collection. Was trying to decide what to put on the card and realised I really need to get xmas cards sorted so will try and do a few a week until then.
I used a 5" card blank from hobbycraft, some green and orange coredinations card (I used a martha stewart punch round the edge of the orange) some lovely hunky dory gold holly card from create and craft and of course the decoupage from crafters companion. The little sentiment came from stash.
Love the decoupage on this card as it really does pop but not sure about the background colours, if I had to do this again I would try swapping the orange to the back,background and having the green as the holly border to see if it made a difference to the impact of the card. Also I would have liked a sentiment that toned in better with the colours rather than the stark white. But all in all this will end up being given out at xmas as it is a pretty card and I think someone will like to receive it come the yule.
Anyway best go get ready for work and am swimming after work today trying to shed a little weight as my back has been aching lately and I think it might be weight gain issues lol.
